A passionate backcountry adventurer and endurance athlete, Xavier’s love for the outdoors fuels his dedication to community safety and environmental stewardship. His time exploring remote landscapes and competing in endurance events has given him a firsthand appreciation for the essential role search and rescue organizations play in safeguarding outdoor communities.
Xavier joins the CSAR board as the founder and general partner of Redline Labs, a venture studio that mentors graduate students as entrepreneurs-in-residence, guiding them in building and launching their own tech companies. When not working, you’ll often find Xavier on the trails or photographing ghost towns with his wife, Laurel, and their three dogs – Mowgli, Baloo, and Quinlan.
